Melissa Andrus LMT

-owner, women only therapist (cisgender and transgender)

Melissa’s journey into massage therapy began with a high school internship at Canyon Ranch in the Berkshires. Captivated by the profound and multidimensional nature of the work, she went on to graduate from the Helma Institute of Massage Therapy in Saddle Brook, NJ just two years later.

Now with over 25 years of experience and a commitment to ongoing learning, Melissa continues to be inspired by the intricate ways our body systems work together to shape our well-being and experiences. She is currently pursuing certification in sound healing and is excited to integrate this modality into her evolving practice.

Melissa’s work is grounded in the art of deep listening, allowing her to customize each session to meet the unique needs of her clients. Her aim is to guide clients toward a state of deep relaxation and self-awareness—benefits that extend well beyond the massage table.

She divides her time between Mill River—where she reconnects with her roots and spends summers with family—and the Southwest, where she continues to explore, learn, and expand her healing practice.
